Engine trouble

I was changing my belts and didn't get time to change my ac belt yet. I drove around for a day with no problems. When I installed my ac belt the car is very loud now. Around 2500 rpm the engine starts to whine really loud, mostly coming from the fan. The problem is I took the ac belt off thinking the compressor was broke but the sound was still there. Was wondering if anyone had the same problem. Is it anything to due with the fan or like the water pump, or could the belts be tighten too tight....please help gotta pass imspection very soon!

belts may be too loose. Your fan clutch could be bad as well, might be seized up. Just a few things to check.
