Hey Guys-I got a 2005 Murano Automatic Trans. Today, the engine would stall out while I was idling for a few minutes. Then, it started to hesitate when I would accelerate from a stop. I'm just doing a gradual acceleration (not punching it) and it would hesitate. As the day went on, I would idle at a stop light and it would idle pretty rough- almost like it was going to die out. I would accelerate off the line, and it would hesitate/hop worse and worse at each light. I almost couldn't make it home. It has a full tank of gas. Any ideas as to what's going on here?

Welcome to NICOclub! Glad to have you here in the Murano Forum!

Have you ever driven a Murano (or other Nissan with a CVT) before? Do you know if the transmission fluid was replaced recently? FYI, the Murano has a CVT, which is technically not an automatic transmission, it is a CVT. I apologize if you know that, but the reason I mention that is one of the common problems with the Murano is people replacing the fluid with the wrong transmission fluid.

Open your hood, look at your air cleaner. check to see if the tube has seperated. Muranos are bad about this. Any vacuum leak after the mass airflow sensor will cause this problem. Plus if it has seperated, it can be fixed with nothing more than a flathead screwdriver. I would check to see if your motor mounts are ok if there is a seperation though.
