So I go to work at 11am Sunday and leave work at around 930pm and I turn the key and car take FOREVER to start.

Once it does start the RPM and gas level gauges take another couple seconds to come to life.

Anyone else have this problem? Sadly I'm not under warranty anymore so hopefully it's something simple!

If you're at 41k miles then you still have plenty of powertrain warranty, it doesn't run out until 60k miles or 5 years.

I would check the fuel regulator.... seems like a typical slow start symptom.

Took it to PepBoys and they said that my battery was charged 100% but it had low crank energy. Said it was supposed to be around 460-500 but was at like 210. Could this be the trouble.

Low cranking amps could be the issue, battery could be damaged somehow.
