I have a 91 shell that I need a drivetrain for and one of my buddies has a 240 that he is parting out and I am getting the engine, trans, underhood harness and computer from him to put in my shell after I re-ring the motor (he tried ka-t with no success). I have never removed the drivetrain from a 240sx so I dont know exactly how to go about it, I also dont know what all wiring I am going to need. This car is going to be track driven. I want the engine electronics, headlights, taillights, and stock gauge cluster to work, so what all wiring should I get from my friend car? Also anyone have and tips/tricks to removing the engine/trans? Should I disconnect the motor from transmission and remove them one at a time or at the same time? Any help is appreciated

Remove engine and transmission at the same time. 2 engine mount 14mm nuts 4 transmission 17mm crossmember bolts. 2 carrier 17mm bolts, 4 14mm driveshaft bolts to differential. Then got to rmeove 2 14m for slave cylinder. For the wiring harness just start unplugging.

Thank you that is much apperciated, so the wiring harness just unplugs? where does it enter the passenger compartment, because I am going to be needing all the wiring that is needed to run the motor. So I am going to need the wiring harness all the way to the computer. Am I going to need to pull the dash to get that out?
