Okay so i've seen this and similar items for sale on the internet. Does adding a strut to the engine really serve a useful and worthy purpose? Or is this just another quack item sold for the undiscerning bolt-on addict?

Discuss with insightful ideas please.

I don't have personal experience with those but I have heard they are pretty usefull, keep the motor from moving side to side. IMO the money is better spent on something more useful.

I just ordered the engine torque damper from ebay. I recieved it super fast and the quality is really nice. I can feel a little more vibration within the floor pan and shifter. But i can also feel my launches being more solid. Dont know how to explain it, but i think it helped alot and i love it!! ill try to get pics up soon.

$70 shipped to me, jus search for it on ebay.

i had one...damn thing fell apart...i dont recommend ordering one unless its directly from HPI (they own the patent on it)...however while it was still in one peice...it worked well...there was a noticeable difference in how much the motor didnt torque...but then again a GOOD solution to this is get some Kazama Motor Mounts...60% stiffer than stock

you would be better off with a set of Nismo motor mounts.

I got one and I definately felt a difference while accelerating but at idle there is some more vibration felt in the cabin. I'm selling mine if anyone wants it. $40 plus shipping. A little scratched up but works fine. Blue color.
