Engine Throttle Issue 96 nissan 240sx

Well this morning has been GREAT let me tell you, mid drive my positive battery terminal connection loosens a bit and car drops power, BAM dead mid drive.

So I pop the hood, whip out wrenches and fix the connection no problem, but now there is a bigger issue.

When I turn the engine over, immediately the revs start to climb on their own, if I put it in gear and let off the brake the car will start to accelerate on it's own, no stopping point, if I clutch in to shift gears the revs start climbing on their own.

I have no idea whats causing it and I could use help, a bit frantic here, I just dropped a grand at the 'stealership' for engine parts and I don't think I have anything to give them to fix this, I can do it on my own with my friend who's a mechanic I just gotta have an idea whats causing it?

MAF Sensor, no grounding issue, something, anything, anyone got any ideas?

Firt thought is ground issue. You know part of hte battery circuit was bad and hte same person did both of them (usualy). Probably the side you did not fix is loose/bad.

Someplace to start at least.

Thanks man, checked the batt circuit, thats fine.

Found a piece of copper wire in my throttle cable tensioner setup, which means one of the splices, probably at the acc wire, looped up and somehow unconnected itself then tapped the metal and grounded itself out.

Which would have fried my TPS, last signal was "Throttle open" to the ecu so of course It'll read that continuously.

Anyone known a good junkyard or you pull it type place in memphis TN, everyone I go to only has pignoses.

Or.., wait I can use the TPS off a 91 and up 240sx since they're the same throttle body right?
