i got a question about the ka block, i was talkin to a buddy yesterday that told me that the ka block is weak in the cylinder walls. will sleeves be needed in doing a rebuild? ive already got pistons, rods, timing assembly, and all that good stuff, i just want it done right. appreciate the help.

If the cylinder walls were weak, then nissan wouldn't have used it. They are fine. Cast iron is a good thing. But, if your block is bored out too much, yes, the walls will be weaker. If you have the stock bore or even .040" over, your still good.
