You can make the 300zx all wheel drive if you wanted to. Get the RB25 neo with transfer case, that comes out the R34 skyline or the RB26 red top, the black RB26 comes out the R32. Your better of getting a front clip and tranfer everything.

I don't think there is enough room in the engine bay to actually pull that off. It would take a lot of fab work, but with the size of the RB motor, and how short the radiator support to the fire wall is, I just cannot see it working without some pretty severe front drive angles.

Besides the cost would easily rival 15k-20k, unless you have some phenomenal fab skills and such. If you attempt it, take pictures and post everything.

An RB swap is definitely cool, they have a lot of history and it provides you with a unique ride.

I just hope people going this route keep in mind that going any RB over a VG30DETT:
1) It will cost more to swap in a RB over doing a TT swap.
2) Any RB (well, maybe not a turboed RB30) is technically a downgrade when compared to the VG. You will pay more for a unique albeit poorer performing car.

Also, I hear it is a complete pain in the a$$ to get accessories working with a swapped engine, but some people are fine with electric parts and no AC.

Honestly I don't think its a downgrade at all, I'm able to spin my 19,s thru first, second, and third gear with no problem, well I do have a RB30 bottom block, but I have a friend brendon cummings drifting with his RB25 motor with simple upgrades and a tune. If anything breaks you can easily get to the problem and fix it.

I took my 300zx harness and the RB harness to www.wiringspecialty.com and they made me a new harness. Everything in my car works except A.C, nevet had a.c in my car anyway from the time I got it. Remembet notthing is impossible, put your mind to it and make it possible. Right now I'm hooking up my a.c lines, my neighbor who does refrigeration and cooling systems is working with my boy that does all the welding for me to make up new a.c lines and condensers to have my car cool. Maybe ill mass produce it, who knows.
