My 19 yr old sons Infiniti G35 coupe, started Knocking, rather than go through a rebuild, he bought a used motor out of another, that the person was swapping to a Rev up and 6 speed manual. He got the motor in without any problems ( He works at a shop and will be starting Mech school next Aug ) but he has no spark,Motor turns over and sounds like it wants to start but nothing. With out the Crank sensor it will start for a few but runs rough. Sounds to me like a timing issue , any way to check with out tearing the motor down ?

We have been testing and Tracing wires , we have found that we have 140 psi on all cyl compression, 90 psi fuel pressure . The Throttle body is not opening , and still no spark. I will start tracing each wire ( We have changed and put new Cam and Crank sensors 2 times now, to make sure none were bad ) anyone have any Ideas ( BTW OBD ll meter shows no codes )

Ok we sent it to a shop for new rear Main Seal, car still won't start. They are saying ECU but no codes are showing. Still no Spark. Beginning to wonder if NATS has locked us out ( Will to many times trying to start cause it, or to many jump/Battery Charges ? ) We only have the one Key provided by the Seller, no Key Fob. If NATS has locked , or Key Lost Programming can it be fixed at the shop or need to be sent to Dealer?

If it's a NATS issue you should have a solid red Security lamp when you turn the ignition on. If there's no lamp then the problem is something else. If it is a NATS issue, most locksmiths can do an '06 with no problem, you don't necessarily need a dealer. If it won't reprogram, try a fresh key first. On old rides, I have seen plenty of instances of keys simply dying of old age. If that doesn't do it, suspect a bad IMMU and not a bad BCM.
