Physically, I don't doubt it will fit. The catch is how to make it useful once it's in there. You might be upto some customization: motor mounts, transmission bellhousing, wiring harness, computer, exhaust, engine accessories etc. I have never been close to an FX50 engine, so this is mere speculation. Also, there weren't that many VK50VEs in the US since only the handful of FX50s sold had them and they aren't cheap, so the number of people that have played with them will be limited.

Not sure about how aplenty they are in the Bahamas, but how about you follow this other thread to see how sergofast's Titan engine swap turns out? titan-vk56de-swap-in-progress-06-infini ... 14391.html

Ok thanks for the info. Could I have my block bored out to a 5.0?

That will be asking a lot of the block, IMO. You're talking major wall thinning and messing with the coolant jackets, thus heat exchange. As an example, an over cylinder bore of 0.040 (pretty aggressive), will only move the displacement from 4.49 liters to 4.59 liters
A little overbore and a lot of stroke kit might get you to the point you want. At the core of it, an engine is just an engine and any competent machine shop could help you, but I'd rather mess around with a platform that a lot of people have experience with.

So why are you looking to change up?

Just trying to get options in case I need a new motor. Do they make stroker cranks for these motors?

None that I know of, but if the engine dimensions and desired output is provided, I'm sure stuff can be made $$$.

But hey, I appreciate the hustle. Gotta plan a few steps ahead.

Any engine other than what comes in he came at you have to get custom part paid research and talk to shops that do engine swaps.
