I have a 91 twin turbo that's salvaged and the body is damaged and getting worse as I drive. Like the inner fender strut tower is cracked and only getting worse. Also the frame it's self where the engine is is bent and cracked. So I'm planning on buying another z but a non turbo one and plan to take everything out from the non turbo and put everything for my turbo z in the n/a. So my question is what would I have to do to the non turbo z to accommodate the turbo engine and parts? Is there a difference between the turbo and non turbo body?

You're best friend: http://www.z1motorsports.com/PDFs/NATTconversion.pdf

Bodies/frames are all the same between NA and TT. Assuming you start with an NA shell (no engine/trans), you will need to swap in your engine, trans, intercoolers, intercooler piping, oil cooler + lines, A/C lines and condenser, and also your exhaust. Oh and your ECU/harness. Depending on which trans your use, you may also need to change the driveshaft. Pretty sure that covers everything but I might have missed something.

It has a different rear end in the NA. You need to use a NA driveshaft. Also has a better gear ratio in the NA
