ok so... although my z doesnt have anymore than 60k miles on it, i have a supercharger and ive done a lot to modify what the original sc kit came with and did for power.

i want more power and i want my car to fool people as some of us like. haha

i found a site ( http://www.hinsonsupercars.com....aspx ) it sells all the parts you need to do a LS2 swap in the Z.

is this a pain in the a**? and/or is it worth it?

if anyone has any input, let me know... i'm really considering doing this swap

It would be much easier to get a spare block, build it then swap it in with a nice twin turbo kit. V8's are sweet dont get me wrong, jsut seems like a whole lot of hassle. And I'm partial to boost. I'll take your SC kit when you decide!

The VQ has plenty of potential in built form. More power than a street car ever needs.

I would say go for it. I really wanted to put an LS1 into my 240, and never did. Really regret it now a days. Simple $100-$200 bolt ones and you can be need 400-500 HP on those motors.

As for how hard it is. Not really any harder then any other engine swap. If you have the tools and time time it should go no problem.

Plus, everyone puts a turbo or twin on a 350, its about time people starting doing the dif.

But i would recommend going with the LS1 swap instead of the LS2, the LS2 has the electronic throttle body system going, and thats just a hassle.
