Just wondering if someone could lead me to a guide for a KA24E SOHC to KA24DE DOHC swap. I've got a 1989 240sx that i'm wanting to put the KA24DE in. But i'm just wanting a guide on what to unbolt and bolt back and what parts from the KA24E that need to be replaced by the KA24DE parts (computer, accelorator line, ect.) Thanks

u need a new cluster (91-94) , dohc power steering lines and pump and resv, dohc radiator (optional), dohc upper harness, dohc complete A/C system, dohc ECU, DOHC coil, DOHC MAF DOHC speed sensor and gear. i just did this swap recently, this is all assuming u have a s13 ka24de, if ur swapping a s14 ka24de then u need a s13 DOHC intake manifold and exhaust manifold, s13 SOHC or DOHC alternator, s13 DOHC ECU, s13 DOHC power steering lines and S13 DOHC pump and resv, S13 DOHC s13 A/C system, s13 DOHC upper harness, S13 DOHC MAF, S13 DOHC distributor, 91-94 cluster, s13 DOHC coil and ur good to go ohh and the sohc brake booster line wont work, and the sohc heater hose wont work either SO PUT THE HEATER HOSE ON BEFORE U DROP THE MOTOR IN!!!! THEY ARE A b**** TO PUT ON AFTER U GET THE MOTOR IN!!!!!

Yeah i'm useing a S13 Dohc.So if i pull the wirring harness and the ecu from the DOHC car and put it in the Sohc car i shouldn't have to worry about any wirring problems correct?also i was wondering if anyone had any tips on finding a small oil leak, its around the front end of the valve cover, just not sure if its the valve cover gasket, although i am going to change that just in case. and Thanks again for the tips on what to change.
