Hi to all you sr20det swappers out there. Anyways i was actually hoping someone could give me a little bit of a hand in doing the swap. Like some sort of step-by-step installation. And yes i know there's one at heavythrottle.com, but i would like some more in depth help if i could. So if you guys have your own cardomain sites or whatever with lots of information about the swap please let me know, so leave a msg please, thanks

pull the engine and put the new one in.

it doesn't really get any easier than that.

if you have 89/90, you need newer p/s lines and a 91+/jdm tachometer for your cluster. aside from wiring, thats all there is. i'm in the process of teaching my dog how to do sr20 swaps.

i know that much, i'[m just wondering what parts of the KA stay in the engine bay that the SR will use? Like is it best just to disconnect everything from the engine and the pull out the engine and transmission. And then weed out all the parts that the SR won't use?thanks

if only you could teach the dog to swap the engine and then bring you a beer. now that would be something.

i say leave it to the pros it'll cost you a lot more if you fock something up and getting it repaired, than to just let them do it right, and if they mess itr up they can fix it for free. thats if your like me dont have tools or knowledge or help!
