which engine would be better for the 91 240sx a rb25 or a sr20det

the answer to your question is the rb26dett, the swap is insanely difficult but it is possible. it's expensive but if you want to have the best engine nissan makes in your 240, that's the way to go. the sr20dett is inferior, and the rb25, though a great engine, is still not as good as the rb26. but if you want something a little easier to swap, the rb25 is the best bet. seriously, would you rather drive a silvia or a skyline? there you go. still, the sr20 is a good engine, don't get me wrong, i've seen some crazy stuff done to those engines, but i guess it's really up to you. i'll probably catch all kinds of hell for calling the sr20 inferior, but in all truth it is. why mess with something less than the best?

easy and a HELL of alot cheaper is the SR. wont be dissapointed. rb is alot more money/time/and effort. but good pay offs. id tell you to search and research bothswaps very well(there are enormous amounts of info/pages on both) then, choose what fits your budget/ability
