Engine swap

I have a 71 521 and i have a friend who is selling an 80's chev halfton. How hard would it be to swap in the engine and tranny from it into my 521? I believe it is a 305.

What kind of engines would be easy to fit into a 521. Anything with more power.

an L18 or L20b would be the only bolt in swaps...
anything else is fab work...
there's a 521 with a V8 in it but it looks like ALOT of work...

there are a few on ebay right now...
a few guys have picked them up from him including Pac coast...
where you located? as I have an unused L18 just sitting right now
