engine swap

i need help anybody pls help give me an idea, here how it goes i just have an engine swap from sohc to dohc i change everything the harness and the comp.box as well now i want to fire it up the problem is the starter doesnt want to crank the engine but if i disconnect the solenoid wire from the stater and give a supply directly from the battery its working and the eng. wants to start but it doesn't go thru. i want to know to where the problem coming from. pls help thanks.....

Have the the starter load tested. It sounds like the starter is not actuating like it should.
