yes but the skyline engine is made for AWD...only a FWD car engine can be swapped in. thats why i said why doesnt he do a fully built QR, something different. i am pretty sure with some good strong forged internals, they can slap on a huge turbo with at least 23lbs of boostmcheddadi wrote:

I was thinking, the EXACT same thing. They both have the same engine and platform. A RWD or simpler AWD altima coupe would likely be much easier by taking the ECU and transmission rear axle/transmission etc from a wreaked murano. 10 000 for the wreaked car 5 000 ~ 10 000 for the mounting and custom fabrication. and another 2000 ~ 4000 $ for custom ECU programming and rear differential etc...Hussain wrote:actually, i was thinking about this the other day. the 2009 Nissan Murano is built on the "D" platform like the altima and both have the same engine and both have CVT so maybe someone could use the muranos rear and and drive shaft and custom fit it to the coupe? i know it's easier said then done but if someone has a lot of money and knows what they're doing, i'm sure they could work something out
