Why would you want to do that? The difference between the VQ30DE and the VQ35DE in the I35, is probably around 10-15hp at the front wheels. For the amount of money and labor, I would just get a supercharger and have an even faster setup. I believe CustomEnterprise has one in stock for the Maxima. Should fit in an I30 as well. Anyone else might chime in with confirmation.

You can, just not sure if it is worth the effort. As mentioned, you can get a supercharger setup for the 3L and go from there.

You know, at first I was getting this Maxima as a daily, something to drive so I could turbo the 240sx and make it unreliable. Now with all this talk about supercharging and such, it seems I was wrong. As soon as the 240 gets done, the money is going into the Maxima.. Dammit...why cant I just leave well enough alone? Haha

One of our sponsors sells one as well. Stillen has a SC for the VQ30. Unfortunately it is not listed on their page...

OK, just got off the phone with Custom Enterprise. Audtatious was right (dammit, he is always right:biggrin:) The company never had a supercharger. They used to carry a turbo kit for the 4th Generation Maxima (1995-1999) however the ditribution of the kit has been ended to some issues with their manufacturing company. CE is in the process of working with a new vendor and they plan on having a new setup out sometime this spring. So I guess The Stillen would be your best bet at this point if you are looking to go the supercharger route.

Stillen discontinued their VQ30 supercharger about 6 months ago. You may be able to find one on e-bay.

Do you have a 5 speed or an automatic?
