my stepson wants my old 89 240 sx...stock...the motor is blown up, maybe head gasket, dont know. Looking for a reliable substitute for the sohc 2.4 engine. Will the altima ka24de work? What about the ecu, bolt ups, manifold etc...any suggestions?

it'd be easier to use a DE from a 91+ 240, and you need to replace the ECU/harness with a DOHC one as well.
