Engine swap s14 to s13

I was wondering if I could put a KA24DE from a 95 240sx in a 91 using the same harness from 91 and ECU.

The wiring harness on the s14 and the s13 vary slightly. I'm not too sure about the ECU but you probably will run into wiring problems that will just piss you off like they did when I swapped my engine.

indeed. they are pretty much the same with the exception of the s14's using a dist with ignition coil built in.

Just swap the intake manifold and CAS/Dist from the S13

Can I swap the 95 ka24de w/harness and it should work fine in a 91 or do I also need the 95 ECU?

Swaping the 91 intake and dis to the 95 should work with the 91 harness and ECU? Or is it better to get the 95 harness if availible?

Also forgot, does the 91 trans bolt into 95 engine with no mod?

well if you use the 91 manifolds, but the 95 block and head, just use the 91 wiring and everything else

Ok, So I just use 91 intake manifold on 95 engine and it should work with 91 harness and ecu.

Can I use the 91 Alt, Starter & A/C Compressor with 95 engine, bolt on?

hey wassup man.. seems like a swap im doing right now.. im putting a 95 into a 89.. so far i had to change the upper and lower manifold, disturbtor with external coil(s14 are internally), engine harness, tech, and ech.. transmission and all so far bolts right up.

bumpin up a sort of week old thread but, i got a 91 s13 shell, i got the 91 cluster and gettin a 95 kade dropped in, would the 91 cluster have any problem wit the harness?

hey wassup man.. A week old post seems like a few months old post hahaa.. but to your question, im no pro but as i know it should work. .. everything will work if your talking about the cluster, but if your s13 is a single cam then the tech will not work..

if yours is a twin cam and all then just drop the motor in and every will pretty much plug right up.. other then the slight modd you need to do before dropping in the s14 into a s13 chassic..

but all and all.. good luck, just let us updated..

with the harness, not if you use the harness from your 91, then you eliminate the risk of missing a few colors and mixing and matching.

Seriously keeping this simple takes a little more work but it's well worth it in the end. move the manifolds over, but keep all your harnesses from the original car.
