So this is whats going on, i have a Skyline GTS-T with the RB20 in it, the car has a salvage title and they wanted me to pay over 4000 dollars, so i decided to check the net repiditively for the past year and i have found finally a 240sx without an engine or transmission big deal right not really, i can take whatever is needed from the skyline, so can any one tell me this what tools will i need other then your average socket set and open ended wrenches and a hoist obviously. I have not once done this and have a slight idea of what im doing and need as much advice as possible.

I'd start by reading this:

You'll also probably need a soldering iron.

i have all the stuff required, im pulling it out of the skyline and using the parts in it, the car has never once seen a winter, and has been stored every year.

i have driven the skyline, the transmission, clutch, and engine run like they're new. I have done a bunch of work thonight, all i need to do is disconnect the harness's in the skyline and pull the engine, take out the wiring and rewire the 240 and drop the engine/transmission in

the biggest thing i ran into is do i have to change all the wiring or just the engine harness in the 240, and will i have to swap out the fuse panel under the steering colum. mechanically i can do it all, my issue is the wire part of the whole mess, thats the aspect i need help with
