Hello Everyone,

Newbie here... Go easy as I am new to the Japanese automobile restoration seen. I have some mechanical knowledge as I have rebuilt a 68 Ford Mustang, 79 Jeep Cj-7 and a 84 Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler.

Always wanted an 80's 300 ZX!!!

I have found a 85 300 ZX, Non Turbo, VG30 V6 with T-tops and minimal rust with blown heads.

Also sourced locally a 87 Nissan Pathfinder / Truck VG30 V6 motor with 6,000 original miles with all the accessories.

Would this swap work and how difficult?

Will work fine. Use just the long block from the donor car.
