I had the old engine on the ground the new one going on after I relized it was for a four speed, but was curious if there was an issue that would stop me from continuing my project. So far the only thing that is a problem is the speed sensor. The speed sensor on the old engine was located on the bottom and the new speed sensor is located at the front as if it was setting in th sub frame ready to go back in.
So from what I can tell I will just have to change the " oil pan" out (for lack of a better way to explain it). Change it out with one from a 5 speed, and it should be ready to go in, but again I would like to know if there is any other things I need to change for it to work with my 5 speed transmission. By the way I dont want to send the motor back because it would take another month I dont really have thanks :co
