Hi and welcome to NICO Club!

Neat idea you have there. Where to start? Online research. Oh, you're already there? Then you've started! I think you might want to do some comparison of basic geometry stuff. Like does the engine fit under your hood. Motor mount locations, is there anything similar between the two? Oil pan. Some cars have leading while others have trailing steering, so the rack is in front or behind the wheels. That usually affects the low point of the engine, being the oil pan. transmission. I think you'd want the gearing of the S2000 transmission, so you want to know if it fits into your transmission tunnel. A custom drive shaft to connect the transmission to your differential will be needed. Oh, I've seen those and they look kind of small in the photos. Maybe see if the rear end can handle such power. You may have to modify the rear to something else. Exhaust, does it exit the same side of the engine so it can be routed the same path as the old one? I'm not a pro, but I think those are good starting points for just seeing if it can be done or more so, if it should be done.

Finally, a Google of "s2000 engine swap datsun" has some interesting results. It looks like it can and has been done to a 510. You've probably seen those pages. Keep us posted please! :)
