Hey fellow 240 advocates lol, right now i have a stock 1990 240sx with a ka24e, i've come across a deal i cant refuse on a ka24de that i plan on rebuilding. the ka24de came out of a 91 240sx with 151,000 miles on it, and the only things wrong with it is the clutch is slipping, and valve seals need replacing. sounds easy enough. (by the way it comes with the 5 speed transmission) now my question is how well will the 91 ka24de fit into my 90, i assume perfectly and if anybody has any good resources for rebuilding, it would be much appreciated.

:D

First of all, it should be a drop in except that the wiring harness may be different and the power steering resivoir and lines will need to come from a 91-94 240sx. As for rebuilding, a Hanes or a Chiltons manual does a pretty good job of describing the proceedure. Can be had on ebay for about 10 bucks shipped or 25 at your local parts store.
