Hey guys,

Just wanted to follow up and let you all know that my engine swap is COMPLETE!!! Thanks so much for your insights it really helped my mechanic who was doing his first Q45 swap. We swapped a 1994 JDM VH45 motor and transmission into my 92Q and its running and shifting perfectly. Thankfully we took our time and had the injectors sent out to deatschwerks, replaced hoses and belts, water pump, thermostat, knock sensor, motor mounts, plenum hoses, starter, and anything else we could think of. The engine and trans ran me 1500 delivered and the swap plus the above parts and labor was another $3800.

I took it out for a run tonight and fell in love all over again...

Thanks guys!

I'm not sure what I did, but I'm glad it worked out! Congratulations on getting her up and running again.

Just offered a little advice and assistance that's all. But it definitely helped me decide how to approach things...

Yeah. It's clearly money spent on a WANT but I love my Q45. Plus I'd rather spend the money here rather than on another used Q and not know the repair history or how its been treated...
