Engine swap around 916 area code?

hey does anyone know of a shop around sacramento, CA that will swap my rb25det into my S13? got the engine, transmission, ecu, etc all ready for swap. i really dont wanna spend more than $1000 but if i have to then i have to. i want it done good. anyone in the norcal area know of a shop thatll do this? i cant seem to find one..

not sure about the shops, but i just wanted to let you know that they will definately charge you more than $1000 for that swap, just for the labor. and there will also most likely be at least a part or two that you forgot that will be necessary to complete the install. good luck.

There is a local tuner shop here that does do that sort of thing unfortunitly I cant think of the name at the moment. I will see if I can come up with it over the next couple days. I dont know what he charges but like xehushnr said ,it will likely be more the 1k and there will be additional parts needed.

well like i said if i have to pay more than 1k so be it. please try to remember the name of that shop. i see your in galt which is like 10 minutes from my house so thatll work out perfectly.

actually the guy i am thinking of is in sacramento, but it was like over a year ago I got introduced to him. I will let you know if I can remember his name. I absolutly suck with names so i might have to hit up a couple people to find out who he was.
