Engine Swap 97 Hardbody 4x4 KA24D w/KA24DE

Problem is finding good KA24E's as they have virtually disappeared from the market. But, there are plenty of Frontier engines available.

So, can I put a KA24E from a 98-on Frontier into a 98 hardbody (KA24D)?

I know it will fit, but if not a clean swap, what changes/modifications are required?

Many Thanks engine heads--Help me keep this great hardbody 4x4 on the road! :dblthumb:

Answer is YES if late model HB and early model Frontier
