engine swap 1996 into 1992 240sx

Can the engine and transmission from a 1996 240sx go into a 1992 240sx? both have the 2.4L automatic. Are there issues I need to know about, ECU, Wiring, Drive shaft ect.....

The Motor burns oil when its hot and transmission burned up 1st gear and she hasn't driven it. I guess It was bad to begin with.My daughter likes the car, So I must be the good dad and fix it.
