Does anyone here know of any GOOD Dependable, reliable, and trustworthy Japanese engine suppliers that provide all types of japanese motors, from Nissan to Subaru, Toyota, Mitsubishi, etc.?

I am just wondering because i am building a custom car out of a Pontiac Fiero and my original RB26DETT plans fell through because the engine is too long, so i need to find a good reliable place that can get me other popular motors from Japan. I'm trying to plan out every detail about my custom car that i can before I start it.

Thanx for any help guys, i greatly appreciate it.

their prices semi- suck but they do give you everything (as in the don't misplace ignitor chips and ect.) and UNCUT harnesses. Also they have a limited warranty on anything but a rotory.

I think I will speak up before someone else does. Check the NICO sponsors, esepcially Phase 2 Motortrend and Heavy Throttle.

I've ordered stuff from Heavy Throttle before (fan kit, radiator, and tons of other stuff), they are reliable but pricing for motors are outrageous almost. SR20store.com has awesome engines and aren't all that badly priced. They ARE NOT the cheapest but I recieved my engine (CA to MO) three days after I ordered and paid for it. If you don't mind HTs pricing...they're pretty quick on shipping also. Best pricing on most parts tho.

I hate to say it, but I suspect not many here have had direct dealings with them. If you go down that route, you may very well be our guinea pig! Never know, you may get a good engine and good customer service. Perhaps we are looking at another HT or Phase2 in the beginning stages. Personally, there are too many unknowns for me to send thousands of dollars with

Perhaps I should stop posting so late, I tend to ramble.

g speed is mad old school and awesome guys. motors are high quality. im sad since they closed their parts department

there's a ton of engine importers here in LA (long beach port helps)

if someone has an LA auto guide lying around they could help list out some places.
