I'm new here, quick back story; A buddy of mine bought a 300zx z32 2+2 a few years ago, we did some work on it by fixing and replacing broken parts (no mods). He crashed it, only stuffing the front bumper and a few other bits.
we spilt the owner ship because we want to make it a racer car (Amateur level). So I've been working on it.
It hadn't moved for 4 months till 2 days ago when I took it for a drive, before I did I changed the oil, fuel, sparks and cleaned the injectors and it drove soooo nice! I had forgotten how much I love Z cars.
So my problem today, after driving it again and it all went so well. When I got home the car started jumping rev's and wanting to cut out, and now the engine will fire up and jump revs 300-2000rpm then just die
No error codes on the ECU.
I have so far (adding to the above) checked/replaced or cleaned;
Sparks (replaced again)
Fuel filter (replaced)
Fuel lines (replaced)
Fuel 94oct replaced with 98oct
Fuel rail (cleaned)
Injectors (cleaned again)
Battery (replaced)
battery terminal's (replaced)
vacuum lines (checked and all good)
all electrical plugs (checked and cleaned)
after all that I can't see a problem with anything else,
If anyone can help that would be great, I'm happy to post pics or vids if needed.
