engine specs

ive been searching around but cant find any information on this forum about the specs of the internals of a vh45de.

things like the specs on the pistons and rods and all the valvetrain. if anyone has this information id appreciate as much as possible since i have my block and crank and heads at the machine shop and its waiting on parts and i need to know the size of everything so i can order parts and complete my engine before the shop gets mad and gives it back. thanks!

thanks, i managed to find the specs on a vh45 rod after digging through that but i cant find any information on the piston such as pin height and diameter or anything. also is there any information about the valvetrain such as valve size, height, spring size, installed height, etc ?

I've 3d modeled most of the internal parts of the VH, make a list of dimensions you need and I'll fill it in as much as I can.

Most of the info is already available on the forum... just spend some time reading the threads & using search feature! A few people here have rebuilt the motors too.

has anyone rebuilt a vh with stock bore forged pistons and aftermarket rods yet? tahts what im doing and im trying to find the information on the sizes of everything so my machinist can order the parts.

defrag had a bunch of htat stuff posted until he went off the deep end.

I have some pics, maybe that will be of some help. However, I believe mettler's data should be spot on.

Did something go on besides what went on this forum? He wasn't always the nicest guy but he was a VERY good resource and I looked forward to his VH build.
