i just purchased it and am currently trying to figure out how to get the program to open the comport so i can connect to the ecu. if you do purchase it make sure you call one of the usa contacts and buy it over the phone. if you do it over the internet the order goes to new zealand and takes about 2 weeks to get to ya.

i bought the consult cable from a guy here on nico, and used the software called obdscantech nissan.

works fine, lets ya monitor all kinds of stuff, check/reset ecu, test relays, check engine temp and other things, but no you can't really tune with it because the ecu is read-only.

Got it to finally connect! apparently you have to check the 96 300zx OBDII to get the program to connect. I haven't had much time to play with it all though I was having fun shutting different cylinders off and shutting down the fuel pump.

ya i know about the timing and everything i have no idea what you mean by k value. i assuming you are talking about the AF ratio. with that the program is setup only to adjust those values while testing once the you shut off the car or disconnect the consult it goes back to the self learned program.

oh I know but for global changes like k(k is like your injector trim, it tells the ecu how big the injectors are) or base timing, just leave the l/t in the car while your in it,and save the program to file on your pc,when you restart just upload the file.... planning to pick up a consult cable here soon(stanza ecu'd de ftw),just for data log
