Hi again! Sorry if some of my questions sound silly..I just got into cars and i am willing to learn more lol.

Its been 10 years since my dad owned his nissan maxima ES, and he told me he has never cleaned the engine before (like engine sludge and what not). Has anyone cleaned their 1999 maxima engine recently and felt a big power difference? Thank you

I honestly wouldn't be worried about it. Unless the car has been severely abused as far as oil goes, sludge should not be an issue. As long as the car has seen regular oil changes at reasonable intervals it should be fine.
