engine slingers

removing my engine and can't find engine slingers. Where can i buy them or do i even need them

strap it down to the manifolds and lift.

the manifolds are aluminum and bend. I'm lifting the motor and trans together ...850+lb's. I don't care about the ka but when i'm handling the sr i want to be delicate and not break the manifold. Does NE body else have a suggestion?

uh huh. yeah, not exactly sure where you're gettin the 850lbs, but with all the swaps I've done, I've been able to sling em at the manifolds with no problems. If you're hell bent on not hoisting ala the manifolds then that's on you.

When I replaced my motor mounts, I put bolts in the holes where the slingers are supposed to attach and lifted with those.
