did a e to de swap, had to replace the driver side mount.

i left the bolt on the underside loose in case i had to move the engine.

i have everything thing bolted up, including transmission. then i dropped the car back onto the ground and realized that the engine is definetly sitting high in the front, and it looks like the engine leans to the right.

FRONT LOW VIEW

FRONT HIGH VIEW

now like i said the driver side lower engine mount bolt IS loose, so i can move that around, but should i lower both??

please, im a little lost here!!!

and i also couldnt find any pages or pics to help me out.

Can't really tell from the pics. It seems right. Can you close your hood?

yes i can close my hood.

i havent put my front strut bar on yet..im buying a one piece header/downpipe so im gonna leave it off til i have that on.

i put some oil into the crankcase and i spilled a little on cover, and it started running down the cover (on the flat spot near plug wires towards back of engine) it was going down it pretty fast

ill look at some de pics and maybe it is ok..

I was going to see if you had a strut bar because there should only be maybe a quarter inch to a half a inch in between the motor and bar.

Yeah that's how mine sits after the swap. It's normal. Kind of threw me off too when we first mounted the slut in there.

let me chime in a bit..nice ta meet ya...the engine sits a slight angle to help with the feed of the oil tube in the sump area...so ya its supposed to be cocked..allso..in the cranck area of your motor is oil squirters that shower the pistons with oil..verry cool desighn..the angle allso helps them do there job.....in my opinion......aws for the hight of your engine...if you have issues in the future you can allways use a hockypuck motor mount...you might find you actually need it when it comes to clearencing the header from the steering mechanizem...good luck man with what ya got goin..nice pics too.

yeah i figured that out, a kid i met had a kade and i asked him to lift his hood so i can look at the engine stance and found out mine is just fine, but thanks!!

btw i did know about the oil squirters, i was going to boost my kae and one mod i was going to do before i put it on the road was do the oil squirters in that block (if you didnt know there is a write up somewhere, basically it has all the essential grooves for the setup, but seems it was never installed until the de)

thanks for the help tho guys!!!

and if anyone is interested, for my first engine swap, dash swap, and first time playing with the wire harnesses the engine fired right up!!! and then died cuz my damn fuel pump is shot....but still it runs!
