Engine shudder

I have a manual '97 SE with 113,000m. Between 2,000 and 3,000 rpm's in gears 1 - 4 the engine bogs down and "shudders" slightly. No one else would ever notice; it's not that apparent. It started doing it around 95,000. It's 100% consistent & doesn't matter if it's hot or cold. I changed plugs recently and have tried different air filters: no difference. Thoughts?

Check injectors but before you do that, take the flying saucer thing off of the fuel rail which is held on by 2 bolts... make sure all of those hoses are in perfect condition.

my friend has a problem with this too....check to see if your throttle body is loose...you may need to get a new one...if it turns out to be the real problem....just suggesting but thats what it sounds like to me! so yea looksey at it....

Could the vacuum hoses be dirty/clogged?
