engine shaking...

I have a problem on my '91 240sx, my engine shakes as its idling...it idles at 650, wow thats low? i thought it was the spark plugs, i replaced them and its the same. Maybe its the fuel injectors? but they all sound clean, and i even used fuel injection cleaner. Any other possibilites? Oh and my 0-60 time is like 12-14 seconds.

I think i just had the same problem as you, massive shaking and lower power. I replaced the distributer head and spark plug wires and its running smooth again. Hope this helps.

yeah i agree chech the spark plug wires, and make sure that you didnt get any of your spark plugs dirty when you were putting them in, that might cause one not to fire. Which would make you lose horsepower and make the engine run rough.

I had the same problem, it was an injector. If the injector is the problem, make sure when you replace it, you put it in smoothly with some kind of lubricant. I put my new injector in and sliced the O ring and the problem remained and it was incredibly frustrating.
