My 2000 I30 with 85k miles on it is shaking real bad at idle and driving. The CEL light, TCS light and slip lights are all on solid amber. They all came on at the same time. A few months ago, I had the MAF cleaned and I have been noticing some of the same symptoms (hesitation when cold) but never had the shaking engine. Also, I was told the battery was low (it is original).

Is it possible that the MAF is causing this? If not, what else can it be?

Thanks

Um you can clean the MAF if you want but i am thinking it is probably a misfire like what Kzoo said.

why don't you just get the code read and you'll know when the problem is?
