I was just under my hood tightening the intake tube to the radiator. I asked my bro to start the car and I noticed that the whole engine jolted side to side(hence the greddy header cracking). I need to know if you guy's have the same thing or is this the sign to do my motor mounts. I have a 97 with the KA

On my s13 my engine did that... then i realized that it was because one of my cylendars wasn't fireing... it was due to a leaky fuel injector... i fixed that up you best believe....

Do you know anything or do you just surf and make your lack of knowledge known to the public?

wtf douche, my post is correct. are you talking about tightening the screw that holds the intake pipe to the fan shroud?a lot of things can make your engine shake, low idle, unproper timing. and obvioulsy you're first post doesn't make sense to everyone (ie me) so instead of being an a** about it you could just simply re-explain it.

Kayo, you're the idiot. You mean to say that you've done, headers, intake, and probably exhaust, all before even realize that your engine shakes? BASIC MAINTANCE FIRST. However, its probably your mounts, my engine shakes heavily on cold starts, as do a number of my friend's. Get motor mount inserts, or something to that effect.

Why the name calling? i know moron, or stupid or every other word is not the end of the world, but ca you just state your point and don't use "stupid" remarks??? (like me)

we are a comunity, we are here to share our knowledge, and by telling people names, only tells me that is what you have to share only, it tells me the only thing you can do is bash on people.

Totally agreed with pancito here again. Yeah some people can misread posts and type stupid sounding stuff in response. It's a waste of the energy responding to make fun of them and dis them. 99% of the people who hear the word intake think of the air intake. Also being that radiator "tubes" should be called "hoses," can you understand my simple error? Chill out rocket, sorry not everyone can read stuff 100% accurately all the time.

Drift sorry its been a rough day here at work and ya'll to just happen to get a bit of the unleashing of the rage. I am making a formal apology to you an Apexi for that. I just hate when people start flamming because someone misworded something or something was misread thats all plus when people get on here and ask ? for help and they get sarcastic answer it is going to turn people off of this board and I don't want that because I personally like this board and I definetly don't want to piss any of you off because when the time comes for me to have some help with my car I would like to get some answers and not just get ignored or blown off because I made a ****ty comment towards someone

SORRY GUYS

Yet you have made fun of me in a sarcastic manner for 3 posts in a row now....yeah....you might want to look the word "hypocrite" up in a dictionary.

Robbie, I wasn't trying to be sarcastic in my very first post, the wording of the original thread confused me, so i responded hoping for some clarity, yet i get kayo flaming me. Yeah it's true that when you ask questions on this board you are hoping for answers. Sorry to say they don't always come when you want them to kayo, and they ALSO don't always come correct either. Instead of being rude, just reply and clarify...GEE that might get you a correct answer faster! But I guess ignorance is more fun than a fixed car?
