ok so im new here and new to nissan. i have done just about anything you can do in a chevy and now am moving on. had a few arguments about taking my 500hp 80 camaro to the track and after last weeks fatality ill let my wife win for now. so the camaro is being parted out.i just got a 95 maxima se 5spd. 127k miles now.

im considering a stillen kit but just bumping on a supercharger i know it needs more work then that to perform its best. a catback i can make in my shop but i have looking into headers. i also know nothing about the fuel tuning systems for imports. so ill be searching around for info but feel free to enlighten me. i love this car already.

Well if you do get the kit you wont need anything more as far as fuel needs other than a walbro 255 fuel pump. They are like 99 bucks on ebay. Everything else is included. I ran the stock pump for a while before i finally went to a walbro . As far as headers they arent needed but a good y pipe and catback are a must. Hope this helps.

2.5" should be fine. Not real need to go bigger than 3.0" even with boost. More important than diameter is cleaning up the path. As noted above, Y-pipe is definitely a must if you want to get the most out of the S/C.

I ran a Magnaflow muffler on my VG max (different than the VQ Max but still subject to the Japanese farts with the wrong muffler like the VQ). It kept the tone deep and smooth, without any popping or flatulence. A resonator will also help clean up the sound. There's a thread floating around called "what exhaust are you running" or something like that. Do a search for threads with "exhaust" in the title in the Maxima forum and you should find it.

Yea for a s/c you really dont need anything larger than 2.5 but as in my turbo car i am running 3 inch but thats a whole diff ball game. I think y pipe, 2.5 catback and a high flow cat you should be fine.
