Today on my way to school, I stopped at a red light, and when I got to a complete stop, my engine shut off and couldn't start back up again, all my warning lights came on, and my brake pedal could not move. Eventually it did start up again, but I had AAA tow it to the dealer, where the guy in the service department had never heard of a Versa doing this before. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I don't think I would call this an engine seize up as it wouldn't start at all if that happened, but since you're under warranty they should give it a good going over. Could be an engine computer module, but they would have the equipment to check it out. Let us know what you find out.

I just got it back from the dealer and they did all the tests they could, and they drove it 31 miles, but they couldn't find anything wrong with it. It really doesn't give me any peace of mind that a car that apparently has no problems can leave me stranded on a route that I drive four times a day. I'm really getting sick of Nissan.
