There have been another couple members who have reported broken engine mounts, and my first V had a broken torque rod (similar to a motor mount) that was never fixed.

How did you break a motor mount? was it normal use, or clutch-dropping?

EV, Wasn't yours caused by an accident?

Couldn't tell you. It's a part I've never heard of before.

BBishop - Potentially. There was no way to confirm one way or another whether the accident caused it or not.

the torque rod is a suspension component.

how do you know if the Engine mount is broken? because I really do feel alot of vibration in the brakes and through out the car when in Drive, but stopped not driving.

That would be the symptoms.

BBishop - I was told by the Nissan tech that it was similar to an engine mount, so just going by what I was told.

Torque rod - that sounds like a way to sell you the same motor mount for three times the price.

I might believe that if it wasn't a warranty issue.

Sorry, my bad! I was thinking of "compression rod" "Tension Rod" and "Torsion Bar" which are all suspension components on various Nissan products.
