I've noticed when I step on the gas and the revs go up....it usually comes down fast....but now the revs stay up for a second then comes down

The same thing happens to my '05 but I have the 3.5 5 spd. I thought it was normal, or a feature for the manual transmission vehicals. If you rev it up it will hold for a couple seconds.

It is supposed to do that to make shifts smoother when driving so your rpms dont drop down right away. All manual (idk about auto) altimas are supposed to do it. You probablly just didnt realize that it stuck b4.
