well i pulled the engine from the top, if u dont have acess to a lift. im not saying that its not possible, the FSM say to pull from the bottom, but i pulled it out in 30 mins form the top u have to remove the hood and then u have plenty of room.

well guys i did remove it from the top last week. one prob was my cherry picker didnt go has high as we needed. we were short by about 5 inches. so we just used some 2x4 and pulled and picked up and then we were done. putting the new one in this week. it supposed to have about 35k-45k miles on the motor. so im getting that one and its the same motor with the inspection plates that are on the top of the cam covers.

well just to let you guys know, i did remove the motor from the top on saterday. kinda hard due to my cherry picker not going high enough. it was about 5 inchs to low. so we got some 2x4 and lifted the front part up and then just the back part out. i got a jdm motor with the same inspection plate on the top of the valve/cam cover with around 35-45k on the motor. also found a lot of metal in the oil pan. can wait to see what really happened! let you guys know. thanks for the help
