Alright, so my rebuild project is just about complete and I'm in the process of pulling the old engine out, and I realized I didn't know what I should do with the transmission. I'm using the same transmission (not swapping anything out) so would it just be easier to leave the transmission in the car while pulling the engine, or to pull the transmission out with it?

If I leave it in there, how hard is it to align the motor onto the mounts and also into the transmission at the same time?

Its would probally easier to pull the transmission too because the input shaft would be a lot harder to line up when the transmission is still in the car.

Wow, you live in Mount Vernon too, just across the states. Crazy.

Swapping in a rebuilt stock KA... college budget you know. SR would be nice, but tuition sucks.
