How could you possibly need to rebuild the engine of an 03 M45?

And if you need tips, I suggest you just leave it alone, or have someone else do it.

My advice, get a factory service manual.

Your and ASE certified tech and you need the internet to tell you how to rebuild an engine?

Keep things clean and covered with trash bags to keep dust off it all. Don't us towels with lint on parts, wash with solvent then blow dry with air gun set on table and cover in plastic.

Plastic bag + Sharpie = good.

Hello,Jay, welcome to NICO. Sadly, there are very few aftermarket parts available for the VK45. What seems to be available has to be imported from Japan. You might also want to check out the VH/VK forum: zeroforum/193. It is primarily a VH forum, but, some very knowledgeable folks.Good Luck,Mark

Your last comment was probably the most useful, but the first two I'd be curious to see what JayDog is up to. Keep us posted and let the haters keep on hating. Its absolutely amazing how a simple question can draw so such ignorance from people. good luck on your project.

I don't perceive "hate" in any responses herein. I do see a lot of folks on the Internet who text message from their cell phones and do make a miserable job of "communicating." There is nothing wrong w/looking @ it that way, he was using his cell phone et al. and folks herein wanted clearer communication.

If English is his second, third or fourth language well then he's used to hearing comments about his poor English writing skills and he knows a better way of expressing what the problem is than **** YOU.

If he is just one of the multitude of English speaking folks who have very little schooling, well then it's plain he might want to work in improving his skills.

Come on gang-there's no hate-just possible misunderstanding and a real poor choice of attempting communication w/a **** you.

he was using his cell phone? I didn't say anything about his posts because I could figure out what he was asking without making fun of him. No reason for that considering we are all adults here.

Imagine asking the same question face to face with someone and you received an answer like the one laflopo or red coupe replied with...... see my point? People hide behind these computers and come off like big men, but..... we know the truth. I've had to limit my visits here due to the same exact thing about 2 months ago. Hate, Envy, Jealously, etc...

It really doesn't matter! I'd rather people just stick to the thread topic next time and save the mindless chatter & hate.

No, just some little boys acting like little boys, and some men realizing their mistake and apologizing. This "hate" thing you gotta' work out CakeDaddy. It'll turn you from Angel Food, into Devil's Food. Remember: "Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me?"

Dude are you ****ing kiding me? If I walked into a dealership, and a ASE certified tech asked me for tips on rebuilding an engine I would ask why a mechanic needed to ask random people how to rebuild an engine...then I would recommend to keep everything clean, and bag and label each part.

If he replied to that with "just what help on funding better parts" I would look at him confused.

Hiding behind computers acting like big men? I asked why a certified mechanic doesn't know how to re-build an engine.

Lofampoo recommended that some one who blew then engine up on an 03 may not be the person to rebuild it, but that he could find instructions in the FSM

Again big men on the internet? If you have to rely on strangers on the internet to do major internal work on your engine, you probably shouldn't be doing it...that is completely legitamate.

Wanna talk big men on the internet how about the OP telling us all to "**** off"

Stick to the thread? Our posts may have been critical, but they both contained information on the subject of this thread. You just wined about how we are hurting feelings and got people going off on a tangent.
