Didn't check my oil Bearing had enough so my engine was knocking.

My retarded a** aside. This gives me an opportunity to rebuild my engine and prep it for boost Here are some pics I took during the operation.

Took about a lil over a hour and a half to yank the baby out.

Drained the oil then took off the pan and looky what I found.

Goin in to inspect the bearings and see whats up. One bearing was spun. Rod needs to be replaced. Sent out the crankshaft to be resurfaced this morning, sent out the head also to be rebuilt.

I'm planning on gettin forged internals. I'm probably going to putting down less than 400hp and a buddy of mine said the rods should be fine for that kind of power, just get forged pistons and arp studs and head gasket.

Is he right that the Rods will be able to withstand 350+hp ???

for the rods 350 yea it can handle it just dont up the boost over 350 on the rods. for the piston it can do 500 dont need forged piston. just do head gasket, arp rod bolts, main bolts, head bolts, acl main and rod bearing and you can do 350 all day with a good tuned.

Alright. I'm down with that. I'm not aiming any higher than around that power level. If I go higher than I'm just gonna drop in an rb or 1jz, to hell with it.
