Engine rebuild

I'm fresh out of an '84 Z/28 Camaro and into a '91 240. Problem is after a few months the 240's motor went south. I've posted on here earlier about finding another KA but have decided to rebuild the one I have. So this is where ya'll come in. I have a good knowledge of motors but I am new to imports, so if there are any tips you have on rebuilding the KA24DE please let me know. Plans are to do most of the rebuild myself except for cleaning the block and possibly boring, so if anyone knows of any good rebuild kits thank you.

if you plan to simply return the car to its condition as sold you shouldnt have any issues if you follow the fsm. part numbers are in there for replacements which can be found through the dealerships that sponsor nico.
